About Medical Assistance/Wage Compensation during Illness (HBOCWWB)
The Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB), Labour Department, Government of Haryana, implements “Medical Assistance/Wage Compensation during Illness”. When a registered construction worker suffers an accident or illness, the scheme pays wage compensation/financial assistance based on the minimum wages prevailing in the state. It applies where the worker is admitted for 4 to 30 days to a government hospital or a government-approved private hospital for treatment.
