About Marriage Assistance For Legally Married Transgender Couples
The Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala, introduced the “Marriage Assistance for Legally Married Transgender Couples” scheme for legally wed transgender couples who have had Sex Reassignment Surgery (SRS). The assistance is set at ₹30,000/-. It is meant to help disadvantaged transgender persons who intend to marry legally to settle into a stable, ordinary family life.
