About Lifetime Contribution to Tiatr Awards (Non-Commercial)
Through the “Lifetime Contribution to Tiatr Awards (Non-Commercial)”, the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa, honours non-commercial artistes who greatly advanced tiatr, its song and music, whether via the annual Tiatr Festivals/Competitions of Kala Academy or by staging tiatrs in villages. Artistes who enriched Konkani Tiatr and Konkani Song on All India Radio, Doordarshan and other media are also recognised. Each lifetime award carries a shawl, a memento, a citation, and a cash burse set by Tiatr Academy of Goa, with special weight given to excellence in acting, script writing, directing, singing, lyric writing, set designing, and innovation on the tiatr stage.

Post-Selection Conditions *Attendance in person is mandatory for selected artistes to receive the award. *The Tiatr Academy of Goa grants a Lifetime Contribution to Tiatr Award just once in a person's lifetime, across Tiatr (Commercial/Non-Commercial), Khell, Khell-Tiatr and Konkani Cinema.
