Ladli Laxmi Yojana
About Ladli Laxmi Yojana
Madhya Pradesh introduced the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana to build a positive public attitude towards the birth of a girl child, improve the sex ratio, raise girls’ educational levels and health, and lay the groundwork for a bright future for them.
Many families lack the means to fund their daughters’ higher education or to save for their weddings. To help, the State government launched the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, which gives financial assistance for a daughter’s education and marriage. The girl can use these funds for higher studies or marriage, and the scheme furthers women’s empowerment in the state.
