Launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand, the “Khiladi Protsahan Chhatravriti Yojana” encourages sport among talented young people of Uttarakhand aged 14 to 23 years. It does so through scholarships and financial help for buying sports equipment.

How to Apply
Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Khiladi Protsahan Chhatravriti Yojana through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Selection does not take place at the school or Nyaya Panchayat level.
Players enter on their own in competitions held straight at the municipality, municipal corporation, or district level, and are chosen on merit.
Physical efficiency is tested through six events: (1) 30-meter flying run (2) Standing broad jump (3) Forward bend and reach (4) 6 × 10 shuttle run (5) Medicine ball throw (6) 600-meter run
For each age group, the district-level selection committee publishes a final list of the highest scorers on merit. These players become eligible for the scholarship, which is paid directly into their accounts through DBT.
