About Kaidi Sahay Yojana
Gujarat’s Social Justice and Empowerment Department started the Kaidi Sahay Yojana to give financial relief to households whose main or only earner is serving a jail sentence. The prisoner’s family receives one-time financial assistance of ₹25,000/- so it can support itself through self-employment while the imprisonment lasts.
