The BC & EBC Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, runs the “Jan Nayak Pustakalaya evam Digital Adhyan Kendra” scheme. It plans to turn every Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Hostel, other backward class welfare hostel and OBC girls’ hostel in the state into a “Jan Nayak Pustakalaya evam Digital Adhyan Kendra.” Objectives (a) Making good-quality books and study material for competitive exams readily available. (b) Delivering quality education and guidance by means of digital learning. (c) Holding motivational guidance sessions led by experts and by candidates who have already cleared competitive examinations. The initiative gives students, particularly those living in remote areas, a modern place to study with top-quality material and expert mentoring.
