How to Apply
Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Jal Jeevan Mission (Har Ghar Jal Yojana) - Uttarakhand through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Any rural family can seek a domestic water connection, either while the rural drinking water scheme is being built or after it is complete. To do so, the family deposits a nominal connection fee of ₹1.00 plus an application fee of ₹25.00 at the department's regional office. The application form must be accompanied by a ₹100 non-judicial stamp paper, two passport-size photographs, and a self-attested copy of one identity document from this list: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Ration Card with photograph, Driving Licence, Bank Passbook with photograph, Passport, or any identity document issued by Government or Semi-Government offices. A self-attested copy of the map approved by the Regional Development Authority, Local Body, or Gram Sabha must also be attached.
The department checks the documents once the application is received and gives the applicant a drinking water connection within 15 days. Since drinking water is a basic, life-sustaining necessity that nobody should be refused, no eligibility conditions apply to a drinking water connection/potable water, and no selection process can be set up to choose consumers.
