Internship Scheme By The Unique Identification Authority Of India (UIDAI)
About Internship Scheme By The Unique Identification Authority Of India (UIDAI)
UIDAI’s Internship Scheme exposes students to various technology tracks and other units across UIDAI Headquarters, its Technology Centre, and Regional offices. Interns typically work on application development, legal domains (such as cyber laws/IT Act), or general management. Gaining insight into UIDAI’s functioning and the technologies it uses adds value to interns’ future prospects in niche technology, legal, management, and other fields.
Objective
1. Bringing young academic talent into UIDAI’s work for mutual benefit. 1. Interns learn how UIDAI functions, while UIDAI gets to interact with young scholars and draw fresh ideas and academic/research support. Scholars, in turn, get to contribute to UIDAI’s work and gain insight into related technical, management, or legal domains.
Period
Internships run for at least six weeks and up to 12 months. NOTE: Interns who don’t complete the required period won’t receive a certificate.
Place of Internship
Interns work at the Technology Centre, Bengaluru, or at UIDAI’s Regional offices or Headquarters, or remotely under a Project Supervisor’s (not below Director rank) guidance.
