About Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom: Post-Harvest Improvement: Pepper thresher (nos)
Run by Spices Board, India, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, the Post-Harvest Improvement – Pepper Thresher (Nos.) component encourages pepper growers to produce export-quality pepper by installing pepper threshers that hygienically and efficiently separate berries from spikes. This lifts product quality, cuts post-harvest losses, and strengthens the export potential of Indian pepper. It follows the modalities and guidelines cleared by the Competent Authority under the Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom during the 15th Finance Commission period (2021–22 to 2025–26).
