About Incentive For The Inter Caste Marriage Couple (Scheduled Tribe)
Karnataka’s Tribal Welfare Department introduced the “Incentive for Inter Caste Marriage Couple” scheme for couples where one partner is from a Scheduled Tribe (ST) and the other is not. The couple receives ₹5,50,000/-, made up of ₹3,00,000/- for the bride and ₹2,50,000/- for the groom. Eligibility is limited to couples earning less than ₹5,00,000/- a year together who apply within 18 months of their wedding.
