How to Apply

Offline Application

Applicants can apply for Hamara Ped Hamara Dhan through the offline application process outlined below.

📋

Application Process

The application form is free and can be collected from the Divisional Forest Officer's office or downloaded from the Forest Department website at https://forest.uk.gov.in/ . It asks for the applicant's name, address, land ownership, area status and preferred plant species.
Hand in the filled form at the Divisional Forest Officer's office for your area, after which a contract is signed with the applicant on ₹10/- stamp paper.
Saplings are bought by the applicant at a reduced price from the Forest Department, the Horticulture Department, or other bodies such as registered Mahila nurseries and Kisan nurseries. Carrying the saplings to the site is at the applicant's own cost. The Forest Department can give technical help with planting, while planting and protecting the saplings remain the applicant's responsibility.
Three years after planting, the village head, the Sarpanch of the forest panchayat concerned, the Forest Range Officer and a Revenue Department representative jointly inspect the site to work out the percentage of healthy surviving plants. On the basis of their report, the Forest Range Officer releases funds into the applicant's account in proportion to the healthy, surviving plants.

Ensure all required documents are ready before starting the application process.
