The Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Government of India, offers the “Grant of Subsidy For Setting up of Ice-Plant /Cold Storage/Fish Processing Unit” as a fisheries development measure. By helping set up Ice Plant-cum-Cold Storage Units and Fish Processing Units, it supports the preservation of fish and fishery products.
