About Gargi Puruskar Yojana
The Gargi Puraskar Yojana is a government incentive that encourages girls to progress in their education, and girls from every class of society can benefit. The award money is paid each year on Basant Panchami.
Girls who qualify on the basis of their class 10th results must take admission in school for classes 11th and 12th. Because the government pays the beneficiary by cheque, every girl must hold a bank account. Applications for the scheme can be made online.
