About Funeral Assistance Scheme (PBAOCWWB)
The “Funeral Assistance” scheme is a welfare measure of the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Union Territory of Puducherry. The Board may sanction ₹7,000/- to the nominees or dependents of a deceased Construction Worker to cover funeral expenses. The application must reach the Board within two months of the Construction Worker’s death.
