Run by the Department of De-notified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh, the “Free Caste Hostel” scheme pays a scholarship of ₹1,230 per month to boys and ₹1,270 per month to girls over 10 months. It is meant for students from De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic tribes who study at local educational institutions.
