About Education Development Scholarship for Single Girl Child
Launched by the School Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, the “Education Development Scholarship for Single Girl Child” scheme seeks to keep girls who are their parents’ only daughters in education. Girls who are the only child of their parents and have cleared the 10th class examination with a minimum of 60% marks get a scholarship of ₹5,000/- every year.

Eligible girls who wish to claim the scholarship should approach the Principal of their school/institution. Note: A teacher of the educational institution enters the student's profile on the education portal https://shikshaportal.mp.gov.in/ based on the records/certificates submitted by the student.
