The Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, Haridwar, working under the Department of Sanskrit Education, Government of Uttarakhand, implements the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sanskrit Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Students. It offers scholarships to motivate Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students enrolled from Class 6 to Class 12 in Uttarakhand’s Sanskrit schools and to help fund their studies.

How to Apply
Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sanskrit Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Students through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
SC or ST students enrolled in Sanskrit schools or colleges who have a caste certificate, an Aadhaar card and a bank account should hand these documents to their Principal. The Principal sends them, with a recommendation, to the Assistant Director, Sanskrit Education, Uttarakhand, who in turn forwards them to the Director. Once the Director approves, the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy pays the scholarship online.
