Introduced by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa, the Documentation of Tiatr through Research Work scheme promotes research on Tiatr and supports writers who wish to study different aspects of Tiatr, its Song & Music. Research is published as a book, with at least 500 copies printed, and the researcher is paid remuneration fixed by TAG according to experience. Applicants should be researchers keen to write books on tiatr after in-depth study, and they must hand in three typed copies of the manuscript for approval. The Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) implements the scheme, and applications are taken offline.

The editing covers spelling and orthography checks. Conditions A manuscript submitted by the author/researcher is taken up for publication only once the Recommendation Board appointed by TAG has approved it. The author/researcher must supply TAG with 3 (three) typed copies of the manuscript. On approval, the author/researcher must hand in a soft copy of the manuscript on a Compact Disc/Digital Versatile Disc/pen drive.
