Design Scheme Under MSME Innovative Scheme
About Design Scheme Under MSME Innovative Scheme
The “Design scheme” under the “MSME Innovative Scheme”, run by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, gives MSMEs access to expert advice on every aspect of design, helping them meet their design-related goals. Experienced designers offer this specialist guidance both for developing new products and for improving an existing product line. The Design scheme has two main parts: Design Projects and the Design Awareness Programme. Design Project: helps MSMEs develop new design strategies and/or design-related products through consultancy and hands-on intervention. Design Awareness Programme: aims to build general awareness and sensitize businesses to the value and power of design, through seminars, talks, workshops, and similar activities, so MSMEs recognize how design and innovation can be applied across their industry.
