Application Process
Farmers who want to take up aromatic farming must have a resolution passed at an open Gram Sabha meeting and send the proposal to CAP, Selaqui, through the Block Development Officer. CAP then prepares a cost estimate or assessment for the crop and sends it to the office of the Block Development Officer or Chief Development Officer.
The relevant authorities approve the proposal, after which the Block Development Officer asks the CAP office for planting material. CAP delivers it free to the chosen farmers at the nearest site or roadside point and helps them technically during planting. The village head organises the aromatic cultivation work on the farmers' fields under MGNREGA.
