Application Process

As a rule, artesian wells can be built only in certain selected parts of Udham Singh Nagar district and some parts of Nainital district. Proposals can be sent to the Division, Sub-Division or other departmental offices via the Gram Sabha, Gram Panchayat, District Panchayat or other authorised channels. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) is drawn up after a site inspection and depending on how suitable the proposals are.
The departmental TAC examines the DPR and sends it to headquarters, from where the proposal goes to the government for approval. Work on the projects begins once the Government grants financial approval.

Ensure all required documents are ready before starting the application process.
