Social empowerment: a women's helpline, short stay homes, protection (defense) homes, hostels for working women and child care homes.
Cultural empowerment
Cultural empowerment: cultural fairs for women and an award scheme recognising self-help groups that do innovative work.
Economic empowerment
Economic empowerment: training women in job-oriented vocational courses in the service sector and linking them to jobs or self-employment, along with training and research for the service sector, and planning that encourages fresh, innovative ideas for their development and empowerment.
