How to Apply
Offline Application
Applicants can apply for Animal Husbandry: Assistance to Small and Marginal Farmers through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
Details of the calamity and the losses caused are gathered from multiple sources. The local Patwari inspects the loss and notes it in the P-20 form, and this report is then checked by the Tehsildar and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Next, the District Magistrate's approval is sought, and once it is granted, the relief money is paid out to the affected beneficiaries at the Tehsil level. Relief covers only the productive animals actually lost. Whatever the scale of the loss, a single family can receive assistance for no more than 3 large milch animals, 30 small milch animals or 3 large agricultural and draught animals (a competent authority named by the State Government must verify the loss or damage).
