About Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana
The Rural Development Department, Bihar brought in the “Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana” to meet the housing needs of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Extremely Backward Class beneficiaries whose cluster housing, built under earlier schemes before January 1996, has fallen into disrepair. Because their earlier benefits make these families ineligible for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, this scheme pays them financial assistance in three installments directly into their accounts so that they can rebuild their homes.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance: Beneficiaries get ₹1,20,000/- in all, released as three ₹40,000/- installments via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
