The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department, Government of Bihar has started the “Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati Evam Anusuchit Janjati Civil Sewa Protsahan Yojana”. It gives financial assistance to meritorious Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students who clear the preliminary examination of the Civil Services Competitive Examination held by the Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna, or the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, so that they can prepare for the main examination and interview.
