About Ganga Swarupa Pension Scheme
Started by the Women and Child Development Department, Gujarat, the “Ganga Swarupa Pension Scheme” supports widowed women financially so they can live independently and with dignity. The pension is paid every month straight into the beneficiary’s Post Office account. The Women and Child Development Office manages the scheme, while the Mamlatdar implements it at the district level.
