To uplift Goa’s large community of traditional fishermen, the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa, introduced the “Financial Assistance to Purchase/Construct New Fishing Craft less than 26 feet for Fishing in Inland Waters of Goa” scheme. It subsidises the building or purchase of Fishing Craft under 26 feet for inland fishing in Goa. Applications must be made offline.
