About Financial Assistance to OBC Students Appearing in the Mains Examination of UPSC
Administered by the Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Government of Assam, the ‘Financial Assistance to OBC students appearing in the Mains Examination of UPSC’ scheme gives grants to Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates who qualify for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Mains Examination. Each eligible beneficiary can receive up to ₹50,000/-, depending on budgetary provisions. Payment depends on the applicant meeting the eligibility conditions and submitting the required documents successfully.
