Introduced in 2017, the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Durghtana Sahayta Yojana is a Government of Haryana welfare scheme under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. It pays ₹1,00,000/- to people aged 18 to 70 years who suffer accidental death or disability and are not enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY). Only permanent residents of Haryana living in the state are covered, and the Social Justice and Empowerment Department implements the scheme.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Durghtana Sahayta Yojana, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Must be aged between 18 and 70 years.
