Dairy Equipment Scheme
About Dairy Equipment Scheme
The Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Goa, introduced the “Dairy Equipment Scheme” to help farmers buy dairy equipment, cut down on manual work and strengthen the dairy sector. It tackles the practical problems dairy farmers face in affording essential equipment and aims to mechanise dairy work. A subsidy of 75% of the permissible cost of new dairy equipment is given, up to a maximum limit. Applications are accepted offline through local Veterinary Officers or Assistant Directors.
