About Construction of Free Houses for Tribals
Tamil Nadu’s Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department introduced the “Construction of Free Houses for Tribals” scheme to give free homes to tribal families who have been given house site pattas. The state government builds houses on these plots so that tribal people have safe, permanent shelter. The main goal is to raise living standards among SC/ST communities by providing basic infrastructure.
