About Capital Investment Subsidy for Establishment of Way Side Amenities Under Green Field or Franchise Model
With the aim of upgrading travel infrastructure, the Tourism Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh introduced the “Capital Investment Subsidy for Establishment of Way Side Amenities Under Green Field or Franchise Model” scheme, which promotes private investment in standardized wayside amenities throughout the state. Projects investing at least ₹25,00,000/- receive a capital subsidy of 15% on fixed capital investment, capped at ₹50,00,000/-. Units must be set up and run in line with the Department’s “Way Side Amenities Policy 2016” on sites identified or approved by the Managing Director of the M.P. Tourism Board. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board implements the scheme and takes applications online via the state’s investment portal.
