About Assistance Towards Sugarcane Supplied By The Sugarcane Growers
The Department of Agriculture, Government of Goa, launched “Assistance Towards Sugarcane Supplied By The Sugarcane Growers” to help Sugarcane Growers take up cane farming in Goa. Payment is based on the actual tonnage of cane weighed at the Sugar factory weighbridge, calculated at the Fair & Remunerative Price (FRP) set by the National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factories Limited, New Delhi. Applicants must be sugarcane farmers in the State of Goa holding a valid Krishi Card, and must meet the cost of harvesting and carting their cane to Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana, Dayanandnagar Dharbandora. The Directorate of Agriculture implements the scheme, and applications are taken through registration with Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL).
