Ashraya Adhar Scheme

Goa
Quick Summary: The Ashraya Adhar Scheme of the Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation offers ST homeowners a ₹ 5,00,000/- loan at 2% per annum for repairing, renovating or rebuilding their houses.

About Ashraya Adhar Scheme

The “Ashraya Adhar Scheme” is a loan programme of the Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation Limited, Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa. It gives members of Scheduled Tribes financial help, as loans, to repair, renovate or rebuild their houses. The corporation devised it to support the Scheduled Tribe Community with funds for house repair and renovation/reconstruction, since many ST members who wish to do such work cannot take bank loans because of the high interest rates banks charge.
