Applicants can apply for Aromatic Plants Cultivation - Centre for Aromatic Plants through the offline application process outlined below.
Application Process
At the awareness programme, the farmer submits a written request for cultivation addressed to the Director, Aromatic Plant Center, or delivers it in person at the headquarters, attaching land records, Aadhaar card and mobile number. CAP field staff then inspect the applicant’s land, choose a crop suited to the area's agro-climate and send a recommendation to the Director, CAP, who directs the relevant District Coordinator to supply seeds and planting material.
The District Coordinator compiles a combined demand for all farmers of the district and forwards it to the Director. On this basis, quality seeds and planting material are bought and delivered to the motorable road nearest to each farmer's chosen plot.
