About Allowance To Dwarf
Details Pension schemes across the states govern the financial support given for citizens’ basic needs. Citizens below the poverty line receive pension benefits grouped under categories such as old age, minor, destitute, widow and orphan destitute. With the state government’s concern for social security of the bonds in mind, the Born Pension Scheme is run to provide a monthly housing allowance. The State of Haryana brought in the Dwarf Allowance Scheme so that dwarfs can enjoy equal opportunities in every sector. Dwarf persons residing in different parts of the State receive an allowance @ Rs. 2500 (w.e.f. 01-04-2021) each month per beneficiary. The monthly pension is admissible to men measuring 3 feet 8 inches or shorter and to women measuring 3 feet 3 inches or shorter (equivalent to 70% handicapped).
