About Akanksha Scheme
Under the plan of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Tribal Affairs Department, scheduled tribe students of the state studying in class 11th and 12th are to receive coaching for national entrance examinations (JEE, NEET / AIIMS, CLET) at reputed coaching institutes located in the division headquarters of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior. In the first year, 2018-19, each coaching center will coach 100 students for engineering, 50 for medical and 50 for class alongside their class 11th studies. In the following year, uninterrupted coaching will continue for the said sales in class 200th. Prescribed Qualification:-
Applicants must register a profile on the Sarvapatham Department website www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS. – Applicants must be natives of Madhya Pradesh belonging to a scheduled tribe. – Total yearly income of the applicant’s parents/ guardians/ self from every source must be Rs. Not more than 6.00 lakh. – The student must be eligible for admission to class 10th by passing class 11th. – Students are picked for coaching according to merit in the entrance test held by the coaching institute. Required Conditions:
- The bank account must be linked with the Aadhaar number.
- A digital caste certificate is compulsory.
- The student must have scored more than 60 percent or 60 percent in the class 10th examination.
