About TEC Internship Scheme
The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), Department of Telecommunications, New Delhi, runs the ‘TEC Internship Scheme’ to engage 25 interns in studying, formulating, operationalizing or assessing various works, projects and policies. The programme lets young talent associate with TEC’s work for mutual benefit, letting TEC interact with young scholars for fresh ideas and academic research support, while giving young scholars a chance to contribute to TEC’s work and gain insight into the related technical field. > Number of Interns
The scheme engages 25 interns. NOTE: This number is provisional and may change based on actual requirements at the time selections are finalised. > Duration
The initial engagement period is 6 (six) months, extendable to 12 months if needed. NOTE: An extension beyond six months is allowed only on the intern’s application, duly recommended by the concerned Head of Division and approved by the Head of TEC.

The applicant must be in the 3rd/4th year (final or pre-final year) of a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Communications/Telecommunication/Radio/Information Technology/Computers/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks. OR The applicant must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Communications/Telecommunication/Radio/Information Technology/Computers/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline in the last year, with a minimum of 60% marks. OR The applicant must have completed a Postgraduate/Master's Degree in Electronics/Communications/Telecommunication/Radio/Information Technology/Computers/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline in the last year, with a minimum of 60% marks. Application Process
Applicants can either submit through the link available on the TEC website (www.tec.gov.in), or complete their application in the prescribed Proforma along with the necessary supporting documents and send it by post, or hand it in personally, to the Assistant Director General (Pers.), Telecommunication Engineering Centre, K. L. Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi-110001via speed post to on or before 14/12/2025. Applications that are late or incomplete will be rejected outright.
