Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM)
About Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM)
Run by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, PMJVM works to raise tribal communities’ livelihoods by supporting value addition, processing, and marketing of Minor Forest Produce and other tribal products. It brings together earlier efforts around MSP for MFP and tribal product marketing, encourages Self Help Groups and Van Dhan Vikas Kendras to aggregate produce and build enterprises, and backs infrastructure, capacity building, and market linkages. TRIFED and State Implementing Agencies carry the scheme out on the ground.
