About Large cardamom Irrigation Land Development : Irrigation equipment (nos)
The “Large Cardamom Irrigation Land Development: Irrigation Equipment (Nos)” scheme forms part of the Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion and Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom, being carried out during the 15th Finance Commission period (2021–22 to 2025–26) under its Export-Oriented Production component. It encourages growers to expand irrigated area by helping them build water storage structures and rainwater harvesting systems and install irrigation equipment, which in turn lifts productivity and quality in large cardamom cultivation.
