About Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom: Small Cardamom Irrigation Land Development : Irrigation equipment (Nos.)
Implemented by the Spices Board under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and following the modalities and guidelines cleared by the Competent Authority for the “Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion and Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom” during the 15th Finance Commission period (2021–22 to 2025–26), the Irrigation Equipment (Nos.) scheme gives financial help to growers expanding irrigated area and developing their land. It aims to lift small cardamom’s productivity and quality by encouraging various irrigation methods. Assistance is provided for the installation of the following equipment: (a) Gravity Irrigation Equipment, (b) Irrigation Pump Sets (IP Sets), and (c) Sprinkler, Drip, and Micro-sprinkler Sets.
