🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Master (FG) Certificate of Competency issued by Government of India; and at least 1 year's experience as Master on a foreign-going ship and 5 years' sea service as officer after 2nd Mate (FG) COC (preference to candidates with pilotage experience in a port); basic computer knowledge; adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Maximum 45 years (as on the last date of application)

SC/ST/SEBC/EWS of Gujarat origin: 5 years; Women: 5 years; Women of SC/ST/SEBC/EWS of Gujarat: 10 years; Ex-Servicemen: length of military service + 3 years; Persons with Disability: up to 10 years (subject to the maximum in the advertisement).

- Interview (100 marks) for shortlisted candidates
- Final merit: 50% weightage of Preliminary Test marks + 50% of Interview marks
